Welcome to my Blog! - About Me

Hi everyone! My name is Alana Rust & I use she/her/hers pronouns. I am a sophomore at the University of Washington and aiming to major in Computer Science. After I graduate, I plan on working as a software engineer. As a software engineer, I hope to make tech as accessible as possible. Meaning I want to work on tech that makes people lives easier. I'm so excited to use tech for good someday!

Aside from academics, I love being active and taking a break from school. A lot of my time is spent doing yoga and hiking. These activities help me reset and get focused again. It also helps me feel a lot better physically since we're stuck inside! I also enjoy reading, watching documentaries, and listening to podcasts.

I hope you enjoy my blog!
